Applicants may also hire a consultant to conduct on-site training for staff and volunteers. ***Remember: Applicants may combine two or more elements of the project types listed above in a single application. For example, an applicant may request funds for a consultant to conduct a preservation assessment and an on-site preservation workshop for the institution’s staff. Tips: NEH stresses the importance of framing your application within the context of your overall preservation planning goals. Also, be sure to make the case for the significance of your humanities collections. How can NEDCC help? NEDCC can support PAG applications by discussing project ideas, providing commitment letters and staff resumes, and reviewing drafts of grant narratives.
