NEDCC APPOINTS MARY PATRICK BOGAN
as Director of Book Conservation

The Northeast Document Conservation Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Patrick (MP) Bogan as the Center's Director of Book Conservation.

MP Bogan has worked in the field of book conservation for thirty years including thirteen years at NEDCC. She previously served as Head of Binding and Repair at the MIT Libraries, and as Conservation Officer/Program Coordinator in the Rare Books Department at the Boston Public Library.

MP brings superior book conservation expertise to the position of Director, as well as extensive experience conducting surveys and managing large book conservation projects. Many of NEDCC's clients have worked with MP over the years, and are familiar with her depth of knowledge and her enthusiasm for helping both institutions and private individuals protect their heritage collections. MP has collaborated closely with Deb Wender, long-time Director of the Book Conservation Lab, who retired in April.
