The Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) is pleased to announce the award of a grant from the Trust

The two-month internship will take place in the fall of 2012. The intern will gain valuable practical experience in photograph treatment techniques under the supervision of NEDCC's Senior Photograph Conservator Monique Fischer. The internship training program will include intensive study of photograph identification and hands-on practice of photograph conservation treatment techniques. The intern will have the opportunity to observe ongoing treatment projects in the NEDCC lab. An additional requirement will be the completion of a treatment research project such as a collection-level photograph survey or other project that can be shared with colleagues as a teaching resource.
The funding covers the intern's international travel, housing, health insurance, and a stipend for meals and incidentals.
NEWS UPDATE!
