PRESERVATION 101

Course Instructor

Donia Conn is the Workshop Program and Reference Coordinator at the Northeast Document Conservation Center. She presents preservation and disaster planning and recovery workshops throughout the Northeast and will be teaching Preservation Management at Simmons GSLIS in Spring 2010.  As Reference Coordinator, Donia answers technical inquiries on preservation topics for institutions and individuals from around the world. She earned her MLIS with Advanced Certificate in Conservation from the University of Texas–Austin and has interned with Tony Cains at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and J. Frank Mowery at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C. She has worked as a rare book and paper conservator at several academic institutions across the U.S.
