This morning Governor Baker ordered all non-essential businesses in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to cease in-person operations for two weeks to contain the spread of COVID-19. The order is in effect until May 4, 2020
Consequently, NEDCC's facility will be closed until May 4.
During this time we will still be available by email to answer any questions or concerns you may have, and to provide you with advice on preserving your collections. And, we will continue to be offering those services that can be provided electronically (e.g., 24/7 emergency hotline, webinars, etc.).
Conservation and digital reformatting projects, of course, will be temporarily suspended. And, for those clients whose collections materials are currently stored in NEDCC’s vault, rest assured that they are safe and secure.
For those clients who just shipped us materials, please contact us immediately with the pertinent shipping information so that we can track it and have someone here to receive and secure it. And, for those who are planning to ship us materials, we would ask that you pause until we give you the “all clear” that our governor’s shutdown order has been lifted.
In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you, and stay well!
