What's New at NEDCC?
NEDCC specializes in photograph conservation and digitization, and is experienced in working with a wide range of materials such as black and white prints; color prints; crayon enlargements, panoramas; cased photographs; glass-plate negatives; and film-based negatives, including nitrate negatives.
NEDCC offers audio preservation with the IRENE technology, which uses digital imaging to safely retrieve sound from recordings on grooved media without using a stylus. The Center will soon launch its expanded audio preservations services which will include magnetic and digital audio tape.
