Training Calendar

Education is key to NEDCC’s mission. NEDCC's Preservation Services staff and conservators offer a variety of programs each year to help cultural institutions and individuals preserve their valuable collections. NEDCC provides several types of course offerings to suit the needs and schedules of potential participants. These include one-hour "Brown Bag" webinars, two-hour webinars, in-person workshops, and a webinar course. Workshops may be held at NEDCC or hosted by an outside institution.

Before registering for a webinar session we recommend that you review and test your connection to Adobe Connect, the online educational software used for teaching, to ensure that you will be able to run the program successfully.

To listen to the webinar session you will need earplugs, a headset, or speakers that connect to your computer. Be sure to test your audio connection in advance.

Please note that all webinars are presented live on Eastern Standard Time and instructions to access each session will be sent the day before the class.

Registration Information

"Brown Bag"Webinars:  $45 per person
Webinars: $95 per person ($75 Early-bird rate)
Workshops: prices vary for each workshop program
Preservation 101Online Course: $650 per person (multiple sessions)

PLEASE NOTE: Listed rates are for individual registrants.

Discounts

If you are registering more than one person for a webinar session, you may be eligible for the following discounts:

2-7 Participants - 10% Discount
8 or more Participants - $500 Fixed Rate

When registering, click the "DISCOUNT" link next to the webinar session. For groups of 2-7 participants, please provide the number of attendees, their name, and if they are viewing the webinar individually, their email address.

For groups of 8 or more participants, please provide an approximate number of attendees. Webinar instructions will be sent to the primary registrant's email address.

Please note that discounts are not offered for NEDCC's Preservation 101 online course, Writing a Disaster Plan online course, or any of our workshops.

Registration Policies

  • Early registration is strongly recommended due to limited capacity in each webinar and workshop. See registration deadlines for each class.
  • Registration will close on the deadline date or earlier if the class becomes fully enrolled.
  • Your registration will be confirmed after your credit card is processed, so please do not consider yourself registered until you receive a confirmation from NEDCC.
  • If you need to cancel your webinar or workshop registration, the registration fee will be refunded minus a $25 processing fee when cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the start of the program.
  • Webinars are recorded and are available for participants to view for a period of six months following the live session.
