I Can Hear You! A recent news item by the Canadian CTV recounts the story of anthropology student Bimadoshka (Annya) Pucan hearing the sounds of her ancestors from 80-year old wax cylinders and aluminum-based discs, transferred to digital file by NEDCC's Audio Preservation services. (A real Goose bumps story!!!)

WORKSHOPS AROUND THE COUNTRY: NEDCC’s Preservation Services team has recently presented two-day onsite workshops on Preservation Management and Collections Care at South Dakota State University’s Brigg’s Library and at the Vermont Historical Society in Barre, VT. Supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), these workshops provide a basic introduction to building effective preservation programs. The next program will be presented at the John James Audubon Museum in Henderson, Kentucky on September 24-25. Learn More
