NEDCC Publications

NEDCC’s publications are internationally recognized as a valuable source of information. The publications assist institutions in planning for the preservation of their collections by providing the building blocks necessary to develop a preservation plan for library and archival materials, training for collections care and maintenance, and guidance for creating and managing digital assets.

NEDCC Preservation Leaflets

NEDCC’s Preservation Services department provides free preservation advice to institutions and individuals worldwide. The Center provides printable Preservation Leaflets with information on a wide variety of preservation topics and links to additional resources. The leaflets may be downloaded at no cost.

The current collection of NEDCC Preservation Leaflets serve as an updated version of NEDCC’s Preservation of Library and Archival Materials: A Manual, last issued in print as the 3rd edition, 1999. The Leaflets will be updated on a regular basis and new leaflets will be added on additional topics. If you would like to receive notification when a new or updated Leaflet has been released, please join NEDCC’s E-List.
